Placing an order

Q. Do I have to create an account to buy things through K-Beauty UK?
A. Feel free to take a look around K-Beauty UK without an account, but if you spot something you’d like to buy you’ll be asked to sign in or create an account before you check out.  

Q. Is there a minimum spend?
A. No, there is no minimum spend when shopping at K-Beauty UK.

Q. Can I edit or cancel my order once it has been placed?
A. We at K Beauty UK work hard to help you get your orders as fast as possible. So as soon as the payment is accepted and the order is confirmed, it is immediately in process to be shipped. This means there is only a very small window of time where we can “catch” your order before it is physically picked, packed and set aside for shipping.

This unfortunately means NO changes can be made to your order once it is placed. There may however be time to cancel your order all together so you can start fresh. Please email us at  hello@k-beauty.co.uk as soon as possible with the subject line "Cancellation" and your full name and order number. We’ll let you know what we can do!  

Q. Which payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit/Delta, Switch and American Express. Unfortunately, at the moment we don't accept Visa Electron, or Solo cards

Q. Can I add a discount code after I've placed an order?
A. Unfortunately not, discount codes need to be added as you check out.

Q. How do discount codes work?

A. Once you reach the checkout there will be a box to enter your discount code. Type in the code exactly how it appears – don’t leave any spaces between the characters.  Once you have submitted the code, you will see it applied to your order total.

If your code does not work, it may be for a number of reasons:

  • Certain codes can only be used once and will not work again if already redeemed.
  • Please check that the item you are trying to buy is eligible for the conditions of the code, as some codes apply to a specific brand or category.
  • The code may have expired, as many codes are only valid for a certain timeframe.
  • Sale items or discounted items are not eligible for promotions.
  • Some codes are assigned to specific customers and you will need to be logged in to activate them.
Q. Are any brands or items exempt from promotions?

A. K Beauty UK reserves the right to modify the brand exclusions list during any stage of a promotion Some brands have elected to be excluded from all discounts. Unless otherwise stated, the below brands are excluded from all promotional codes:

Q. Where can I find details of my order?
A. Orders past and present can be found in the 'Your Orders' section of 'Account Settings'.

Q. Can I order over the phone?
A. Afraid not - we're an online-only business so all orders must be placed through our website.  If you have any other questions about shopping with us, please don't hesitate to email us at hello@k-beauty.co.uk.

 

Delivery

Q. What are the different delivery options?

A.  Our UK Tracked option gives you confidence in tracking your parcel. We will email you tracking information once your parcel is dispatched.

  • Delivery takes 1-3 days
  • Deliveries made between 8am and 8pm Mon-Fri and 8am-6pm Sat (excludes Sundays and Bank Holidays)
  • Postcode restrictions apply

*Delivery will be attempted at the address provided. Should you not be available to accept delivery, the couriers operates a leave safe service. Your parcel may be left with a neighbour, left in a safe, secure location at the delivery address or delivery may be re – attempted.

Q. How does your Next Working Day Delivery work?
A.  Next Day orders placed before 2pm (10.30pm Saturday) will be delivered the next day between 8am and 1pm Mon-Fri excluding bank holidays. We will email you tracking information once your parcel is dispatched.

Q. Is there a delivery charge?
A. Standard Delivery is FREE when: You spend £25 or more Otherwise delivery is just £3.95. Next day delivery is free for orders over £150

Q. How can I add a new address?
A. You can add or change an address in the 'Delivery address book' section of 'Account Settings'.

Refunds and Returns

Q. Can I get a refund?
A. Of course. You have up to 30 days to ask for a refund. Please read out Returns policy for more information

Q. What if my order has arrived damaged, incorrect or incomplete?

A.  Our warehouse team are incredibly conscientious but occasionally mistakes do happen.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please notify us via email as soon as possible. Please include your order number and a photograph(s) of the product and packaging.

We can then arrange prompt dispatch of replacement items where necessary, or offer you a refund.

Q. I've suffered a reaction to a product - can I send it back?

A. If a product is defective or you have suffered an adverse reaction, please stop using the product immediately and contact our Customer Service team.

We may ask you to return the product for inspection, and we’ll happily issue a refund for any item that proves faulty.

Please be aware that we cannot accept responsibility and may refer you to the manufacture, requesting that you deal with them directly.

We will however do our best to deal with any issues as efficiently as possible. We want you to be happy with your K Beauty UK buys!

Q. Are there any items that can't be refunded?
A. Unfortunately, we can't offer a refund on unsealed cosmetics, for example used lipsticks and mascaras. For a full explanation please read our Returns Policy for more details.

Q. Why haven't I received my refund yet?
If you haven't received your refund please get in touch - email us at hello@k-Beauty.co.uk.

Q. How long will it take to process my refund?
A. We'll try to process your refund within three working days, but it may take up to 14 working days to appear in your account.

Q. Do I have to pay for a return?
A. All returns are completely free unless you’re posting your product back to us yourself, in which case you will be liable for the cost of this.

Q. How long do I have to return items?

Skin care

Q - What is the 10-step Korean Skin Care Routine?

It’s the secret to getting the most amazing skin of your life. The 10-step Korean Skin Care Routine is the skin care regimen that includes thoroughly cleansing, exfoliating, treating, intensely hydrating, and applying SPF during the day. This regimen was inspired by women in Korea who are experts in taking care of their skin from an early age. To learn more, click here.

Do I need to follow all 10-steps? Do I have to use Korean products?

No, following all 10-steps is optional and only you know what’s best for your skin. While Korean women are dedicated to their skincare and believe in the layering technique, you should choose what works for your unique skin type. The use of exclusively Korean products is also optional. It’s a good idea to start with the most essential products that will make a dramatic difference and gradually incorporate additional steps to your routine.

Q - I’m a total K-Beauty novice, what do I need to know to get started?

The first thing to know is that every person’s skin is unique, so skin care (Korean or not) is very personal and all about finding out what works best for you. This means skin care is very much a trial-and-error process and there really isn’t a foolproof way to get it right the first time. 

Q - How do I know what my skin type is?

We know sometimes this can be a tricky thing to figure out, particularly when skin can change over time! To learn more, click here.

Q - What is the Double Cleanse?

The two-step cleansing method that is pure magic for your skin. The Double Cleanse starts with an oil cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser. You need two different formulas to properly and thoroughly cleanse your face every day, in the morning and at night.

 

Q - Why are my new products are breaking me out?

Your skin could be going through a period of ‘purging’, which is a term used to describe the adjustment period your skin goes through when you’re using a new product. 

Skin care is all about trial and error and the only sure way to find out what is right for your skin is simply to try them out one by one. Whenever introducing new products into your current skincare routine, try only one or two new products at a time and gradually incorporate them into your skin care routine. This way, you know the exact effects of the product, and you help your skin adjust to the new product.

But if irritation continues, you might be allergic to one or more of the ingredients, in which case you should stop using the product!
 

Q - How should I apply my treatment products?

A good rule of thumb is to apply treatment products (essence, serum, ampoules, booster, etc) in order of their viscosity, so that the most lightweight, fluid products go on first.

 

Q - If I use whitening products, will my skin tone literally change shades?

No. We do not sell any products with bleaching or whitening ingredients. Products with names or descriptions that include the word “whitening” simply mean 'brightening,’ and they help even out your skin tone and brighten your overall complexion. Your skin will not literally turn 'white'. 

Q - What products are unsafe for me to use while I am pregnant/nursing?

The general consensus is that topical skin care products that are not prescribed by a doctor are completely safe to use during pregnancy and while nursing. Having said that, we always recommend speaking with your doctor and taking extra precautionary measures throughout your pregnancy. 

 

Q - Why don’t you have a 10-step Korean Skin Care set for Sensitive skin?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to provide recommendations for sensitive skin types that guarantee no breakouts or irritation. Everyone's skin is different, and skin sensitivity can be triggered by many different factors, depending on the person.

Q - Can I use these products if I’m a male?

1000% yes. Whatever the outer packaging may look like, the ingredients and the formulas inside are not gender-specific. Nor are they age or ethnicity-specific for that matter. Korean skin care works for everyone not because it’s specifically meant for Korean or Asian skin but because it’s meant for skin in general, which we all have!

Q - What brand or product is all-natural or organic?

For a product to be truly 100% organic, it would also be entirely free of preservatives. Unfortunately, many companies mislabel their organic products—if a product was entirely organic, it would also go bad pretty quickly. As a result, you should be vigilant of any beauty products labeled as 100% organic. No industry standards or regulations are in place for organic skincare.

However, you’ll be happy to know that many Korean beauty brands do focus on using natural and gentle ingredients in their formulas.

Q - Why isn’t the K-Beauty brand I love not on K Beauty UK?
