Benefits of Snail Mucin?

There’s a reason that spas and cosmetic companies have been quick to jump onto the snail mucin trend. Glowing, radiant, rejuvenated skin is the result of the continued use of products containing snail mucin. Many swear by snail mucin’s ability to to stimulate elastin and collagen production, both being vital for repairing and rejuvenating damaged skin. It has also been claimed that snail mucin helps to reduce premature ageing by defending the skin from the free radicals which damage the skin. Its complex mixture of chemicals is rife with chemicals that have themselves long been proven to be beneficial to the skin. Allantoin for instance, has been shown to reduce the appearance of scars, while hyaluronic acid is known for its hydrating and revitalising properties.
